Follow me through the meanderings of learning at Bainbridge Graduate Institute. This journal is here to capture my evolution of using the social web for social change. It is from here that I shall launch. Follow me as I strive to Be.
Racist people hurt my feelings too, but rarely is it personal so it doesn't hit as hard. Keep your chin up ;-)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Christopher; my experiences with racism have sucked and been perplexing, but I do think the nature of that ugly beast is its impersonal quality. Which is both a comfort and not; easier to blow off if isn't about US per se, but still lousy and violent and demoralizing to feel objectified. To be reduced to some representation, and a false one at that.
